Governing Council
Comprised of Chairpersons/Presidents of member associations, the Governing Council shapes the organization’s direction and policies. This committee is in –charge of appointment of Executive Committee members.
Executive Committee
Elected officials are the day-to-day functioning and execution of AESATA’s vision. This committee includes the President, Vice President - Air Matters, Vice President -Finance, Secretary, and CEO. This Committee is in-charge of appointment of Secretariat.
Secretariat
The Secretariat is responsible for managing all of AESATA’s operations, communication, as well as the organization’s projects.

Adaptability
Embracing change and innovation. Through the hosting of the Annual AESATA Travel Agents Conference and Trade Fairs, we seek to facilitate collaboration, knowledge exchange, and business opportunities that will in turn provide avenues for change.

Providing resources for member success in regard to cultural tourism and providing members with comprehensive education programs covering digital transformation, customer service, sustainability, and more.
Advancement
Driving industry growth and professionalism. Engaging with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to promote seamless travel and tourism across the continent.
Solidarity
Fostering unity and collaboration. Creating avenues for collaboration and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between state associations.
Transparency
Operating with integrity and trust. We make available policy papers, news and publications to provide insights on AESATA.
Advocacy
Championing industry interests and rights. We provide a platform to address industry challenges, shape policies, and promote shared interests. AESATA strategically engages with partners like the International Air Transport Association (IATA), governments, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure growth and sustainability.
